The S13 Sonde Kit 33kHz is a super small sonde designed to trace the paths of non-metallic pipes, ducts, sewers, and drains, and precisely locate blockages and collapses.
The S13 Sonde transmits a locate frequency at 33kHz, making it compatible with many underground cable location products, RD7100, RD7200, RD8100, RD8200 cable & pipe locators, eCat, gCat & Cat4+ and many others.

Technicians often use smaller diameter ducts to install fibre optic cables to homes and businesses. They can jet or blow the S13 Sonde through the duct to check for blockages, making it ideal for applications where size restricts the use of larger sondes.
The S13 Sonde is not just for telecoms. With a diameter of only ½” (12.7 mm) and a short working length of 2.7” (68 mm with plain end cap), it is designed to pass through narrow pipes and ducts in HVAC and water systems. In fact, it can traverse more bends and corners than larger sonde options. This makes the S13 an ideal tool for tracing non-metallic water pipes, ventilation ducts, and drains, both in buildings and underground.
The S13 Sonde comes as a kit containing the S13 Sonde body, an M10 threaded male end cap, plain end cap with eyelet, two batteries, and a case. Finally, you can also purchase an optional pack of 10 batteries.
