The Locator CD/CM Clamp (Current Direction and Current Measurement) identifies individual utilities in congested areas. When used with a CD signal, it provides positive identification. Additionally, it can measure the current of a transmitter signal to further identify individual utilities.
For CD information and identification, you’ll need a RD8KPD(B) and Tx-10(B) transmitter. If you only need current readings, you can use this clamp with all locator models over the range of transmitter signals.
