The Radiodetection PCMx system empowers corrosion and Cathodic Protection System (CPS) professionals to assess the condition and effectiveness of pipeline coatings. With this system, you can locate faults and holidays in the coatings and identify shorts caused by contact with other structures. Our portable 25W transmitter significantly enhances portability and usability.

PCMx enables pipeline managers to identify and prioritise preventative maintenance on pipelines. Ultimately extending asset life by identifying potential sources of corrosion early on.

Conduct ACCA and ACVG surveys in accordance with ANSI/NACE SP0502-2010 using the system. These surveys, which you can conduct separately or simultaneously, locate and pinpoint coating defects. Or identify shorts caused by contact with other structures. Furthermore, removing the detachable foot transforms the PCMx into a fully-featured RD8100PDLG pipe and cable locator, capable of capturing depth of cover and GPS positional data.
